在上海街头闲逛，很难不注意到经常在十字路口涌现的造型高耸的装饰艺术（Art Deco）建筑。它们往往有着丰富的纵向/放射状/阶梯状收分的装饰线条，在视觉效果上达到了醒目、丰富以及地标式的建造目的。

上世纪30年代，装饰艺术风格在法国起源，之后因其独特的造型效果得以在世界各地的建造活动中得到发展和演变。在这其中，上海也不例外。在这一浪潮下，众多在沪的外籍建筑师和设计机构以及中国建筑师事务所都呈现了自己对于装饰艺术派的理解，带来了非常多的装饰艺术派建筑作品。

在几年时间内，我断断续续地积攒了其中12座位于十字路口且带有装饰艺术风格的建筑。它们并非上海装饰艺术建筑宝库的全部，或者也可以说它们仅仅是其中我有幸能够路过观摩并且拍摄的一部分。将这些照片整理出来，也算是一种节点式的记录。

备注：文章内的照片大致拍摄于2019-2022年。

Wandering the streets of Shanghai, it's hard not to notice the towering Art Deco buildings that often pop up at intersections. They often have rich vertical/radial/stepped decorative lines, which achieve eye-catching, rich and landmark construction purposes in terms of visual effects.

In the 1930s, the Art Deco style originated in France, and later developed and evolved in construction activities around the world because of its unique modeling effects. Among them, Shanghai is no exception. Under this wave, many foreign architects and design agencies in Shanghai, as well as Chinese architectural firms, have presented their own understanding of Art Deco, and brought a lot of Art Deco architectural works.

Over a period of several years, I amassed, on and off, 12 of these Art Deco buildings at intersections. They are not all of Shanghai’s treasure of Art Deco buildings, or it can be said that they are just a part of them that I was lucky enough to pass by to observe and photograph. Sorting out these photos can be regarded as a nodal record.

Remarks: The photos in the article were roughly taken in 2019-2022.
